Remember when we used to say it's been a rough year? How about a challenging TWO years?! If you're like many of us in the nonprofit sector you're not just fatigued, you're exhausted. Business as usual hasn't been usual for a long time... and many of us are feeling it personally, in our team and in our work. Join us for this interactive conversation that will share real-world and sector-specific survival stories - and tips for the road that lies ahead - from three local experts in nonprofit excellence.

We're proud to bring you this panel of experts who'll share their own leadership journeys, pandemic challenges & silver linings, as well as provide inspiration on caring for yourself and your staff ALL while stewarding your mission work. This session will feature executive, consultant and volunteer leaders from around our state and will be moderated by TedX speaker and fourth-generation Floridian Liz Wooten-Reschke. This inspiring and real-world view on the struggles and triumphs of nonprofit business in the new abnormal is brought to you in partnership with Florida-based consulting firm Connect For More.

About The Moderator

Liz Wooten-Reschke is an experienced facilitator, keynote speaker and strategy expert with over 25 years of service to the Florida and Tampa Bay communities. She currently serves as the entrepreneurial leader of Connect For More, a consulting and coaching firm that engages leaders and empowers philanthropists by sharing resources to help them accomplish their mission.

Liz personally provides executive coaching and delivers inspiring speaking engagements for all sector leaders, philanthropists, consultants and rising leaders. Liz is known for her authentic and humanistic leadership style, which she shares through her humor, empathy and generosity with all she encounters. She is also a published author, blogger and insightful interviewer dedicated to
connecting people with experiences that are both inspiring, vulnerable and affirming.

Liz is a self-proclaimed recovering perfectionist, with a passion for the arts, animal rights and college football. She is a fourth generation Floridian and Key West Conch, raised by educators and community leaders dedicated to helping their communities through volunteerism, philanthropy and connection. She has lived in Tampa for almost 30 years and currently makes her home with her husband and their family circus – which includes one college sophomore, one high school junior, two elementary school kids, one dog, one cat and two fish. Her past careers include public school teacher, dance team coach, nonprofit fundraiser and caregiver for her mother.
